Why We Need More Innovative Pain Therapies

A recent US Department of Health and Human Services report made it clear that multimodal and multidisciplinary approaches are the preferred and highest quality treatment for acute and chronic pain conditions, and that there are significant gaps in this approach to pain care. The Center for Innovation in Pain Care was founded in 2020 in recognition of such needs with a special focus on the development and implementation of innovations in pain care using a multidisciplinary, cost-effective, and collaborative approach.
